Job Summary:
As a Principal Software Engineer on the team, you will have the opportunity to leverage all of your skills in engineering, modernizing, and testing Annuity contract generation and account opening applications. You will be expected to quickly gain understanding of all the components of our applications and will work with the team to deliver best in class solutions.

As a Principal Software Engineer on the team, you will have the opportunity to leverage all of your skills in engineering, modernizing, and testing Annuity contract generation and account opening applications. You will be expected to quickly gain understanding of all the components of our applications and will work with the team to deliver best in class solutions.

- Architect, design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products
- Master our development process, culture and code base, then improve it
- Operate optimally in the hybrid engineering model where engineers are encouraged to be able to craft and complete the vital work to ensure quality in their own code as well as other engineers
- Mentor others in development technologies, tools, and processes
- Present your own designs to internal/external groups and review designs of others
- Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, write unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics
- Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to address sophisticated problems in real-time and keep services operational and highly available
equirements:Â
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4+ years of Expertise in developing policy administration systems usingÂ
- Oracle Policy Administration System (OIPA), including configuration language, integration,Â
- AS Files, data intake, database architecture, and data extraction patterns; building OIPA extensions; and performing palette and application security implementations, screens (policy, roles segment, allocation, and valuation), and release management.
- Expertise in implementing design patterns, usingÂ
- UMLTest Driven Development, Junit, Jasmine, Karma, ProtractorIDE’s Spring Tool Suite, and Eclipse, within a UNIX and Windows environmentWriting SQL queries and debugging stored procedures within an Oracle environment.
- Leadership: Team player, self-starter, collaborative, innovative, eager to learn every day.
- Understanding of docker, cloud-computing / cloud services platforms (e.g. AWS or Azure) will be a plus
- AWS Certification is a plus
Job Type: Contract
Pay: C2C Rate up to $100/hr
