The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Cox Fleet is the leading provider of on-site mobile maintenance and repair services nationwide, offering mobile on-site fleet service for light medium, and heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Cox Fleet, the largest independent fleet maintenance company in the country, is currently hiring a Warehouse/Inventory Worker. As a Warehouse/Inventory Worker you will be responsible for pulling parts and loading trucks.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • This is an evening-time shift.
  • Loading trucks
  • This position works both inside and outside year-round.
  • Working as a part of a team
  • Ability to regularly lift heavy objects up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Pulling parts from the warehouse.
  • Utilizing a sit-down Forklift to move materials around the warehouse.
  • Assist in preparing customer parts orders.
  • Participate in annual inventory of parts.
  • Assist in weekly cleanup of warehouse department and yard areas.
  • Maintain general work area in a clean and safe condition.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and up to 2 years’ experience in a related field
  • Self-sufficient work ethic
  • Following all company safety guidelines and policies
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics field preferred
  • Prior forklift experience required
  • Microsoft Office experience preferred.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively.
  • Pay close attention to detail.

Benefits

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of 6.67 hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
