Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc. is in search of a Continuous Improvement Manager to join our growing team!    The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and leading organizational initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall performance and quality of output. This role ensures that continuous improvement methodologies and practices are used and embedded into the company culture and aligned with strategic objectives.

Duties/Responsibilities:  

  • Process Analysis: Evaluate workflows, systems, and procedures to identify inefficiencies and potential areas of improvement
  • Project Leadership: Lead cross functional teams and manage improvement projects from conception to completion, ensuring measurable outcomes.
  • Methodology Application:Utilize CI tools including but not limited to Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and others to drive improvement projects.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to align CI initiatives with business goals.
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop and track KPIs, report progress on projects, and ensure sustainability of improvement projects.
  • Capability Building: Train and mentor employees on CI tools and new processes to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Proven reduction in operational costs
  • Improvement in quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, customer satisfaction).
  • Increased employee engagement in CI initiatives.
  • Achievement of project timelines and ROI targets.

 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  •  Analytical Thinking: Ability to collect and interpret data to identify potential opportunities.
  • Change Management: Skilled in leading and guiding teams through problem solving and Projects to drive change.
  • Leadership: Critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, andstrong communicationand influence skills are critical for success.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure all CI initiatives support long-term businessobjectives.
  • Technical Expertise:Proficiencyin Continuous Improvement methodologies like Lean/Six Sigma is highly valued and preferred.

 

Education and Experience: 

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business or related field.
  • Lean six sigma certification preferred. Experience in Implementation of CI tools required.
  • 2-5 years in process improvement experience, operations, or quality management.

 

Physical Requirements:  

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer with some exposure to production.   
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
