SUMMARY

The Program Coordinator oversees daily operations of Career Services programs to ensure services are delivered effectively, meet contract requirements, and achieve performance goals. The Program Coordinator provides leadership by supervising staff, maintaining accurate documentation, tracking deliverables, and monitoring the program budget. Additionally, the Program Coordinator builds and maintains community partnerships to support long-term program success and positive outcomes for participants, while handling other assigned responsibilities.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  • Program Oversight & Compliance
  • Ensure contracts, billing, documentation, and regulations are fully met 
  • Track performance and improve outcomes 
  • Maintain accurate records and submit timely reports 
  • Staff Supervision & Development
  • Supervise, assign duties, and evaluate staff 
  • Train new hires and support ongoing development 
  • Address staff challenges and operational issues 
  • Participant Services & Case Management
  • Provide counseling (individual, group, crisis support) 
  • Deliver case management to support employment goals 
  • Review case records to ensure quality and progress 
  • Curriculum & Program Development
  • Develop and update training curriculum 
  • Coordinate activities to meet enrollment and milestones 
  • Support continuous program improvement 
  • Community Engagement & Partnerships
  • Represent the organization in the community 
  • Build partnerships with employers and service providers 
  • Collaborate to expand opportunities for participants 
  • Administrative & Reporting Duties
  • Prepare reports and conduct documentation audits 
  • Monitor program budget and operational needs 
  • Keep leadership informed and support agency initiatives

 

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • 2–4 years of management experience, ideally in a community service organization 
  • Supervisory experience preferred 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 
  • Experience working in human services, especially with immigrant communities, preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Occasional travel required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have access to an insured vehicle
