Responsibilities
- Perform adult echocardiography exams, including 2D-Mode, Doppler CW and PW, and color flow mapping
- Evaluate valvular disease, cardiomyopathies, congenital heart disease, pericardial disease, and effusions; conduct hypertensive heart disease studies
- Perform 2D and 3D transesophageal echocardiography (TEEs) as indicated
- Pediatric echo experience is a plus but not required
- Operate equipment such as Canon i700 and Canon i900; ensure high-quality image acquisition
- Document findings and integrate results into the EMR; participate in on-call rotation and collaborate with cardiology teams
Requirements
- Active ARDMS or CCI certification
- RDCS certification with active AHA BLS
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an acute care setting
- Ability to work rotating shifts; 40-hour weeks with on-call; capable of floating to other departments
- Epic EMR experience
- Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to complete employee health requirements
