Schedule: Full Time Monday-Friday 7a-8p (schedule varies per day and department need)

Location: 11 Salt Creek Lane, Hinsdale, IL (may travel to clinics in Bolingbrook, Carol Stream, Woodridge)

The role you’ll contribute:

Under the direction of the Manager and or Director, assists in managing the human, physical, and financial resources of the Clinic to deliver optimal quality care to patients in each outpatient setting. Maintains excellent quality in medical assistant and nursing work, clinical supplies and equipment, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborates with the site managers and medical director to maximize clinical efficiency and effectiveness in the service line.

  • Maintains up-to-date departmental standards of clinical operations and educates and monitors clinical staff in the performance of clinical duties.
  • Verifies clinical staff competencies through direct observation and regular testing, and orients and trains new associates while mentoring less experienced clinical staff.
  • Provides expertise and guidance in the knowledge of nursing standards and practice, and monitors medical records charting of medical assistants for appropriateness and completeness.
  • Ensures compliance with all pertinent regulatory agencies such as CLIA, OSHA, State Board of Nursing, and others, and participates in quality initiatives while advocating for process improvements.
  • Monitors patient satisfaction and implements ideas to improve it, ensuring each provider has the clinical assistance needed to provide efficient and effective care to each patient.
  • Performs clinical assistant duties and maintains medical records exceptionally, and monitors and coordinates daily tasks and activities of the department.
  • Actively participates in the performance appraisal process and identifies and directs human and material resources to provide effective and efficient patient care.
  • Empowers, motivates, and encourages staff by providing development opportunities, delegating tasks, and identifying training needs and resources.
  • Demonstrates responsiveness to staff ideas, good listening skills, and appropriate communication through a participative style.
  • Coordinates orientation with new employees and integrates new information, policies, quality initiatives, and other improvements into daily practices.
  • Effectively engages in problem-solving and conflict resolution to maintain smooth clinical operations, maintains clinical equipment, and makes recommendations for new acquisitions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
