Job DetailsJob Location: Hobbs New Mexico RRC Surveying - Hobbs, NM 88240Position Type: Full TimeRRC is seeking a talented Crew Chief to help us build the future of U.S. energy production from our Austin/Round Rock Texas office. RRC is a multi-disciplinary engineering firm that specializes in energy projects, particularly renewable energy, throughout the United States. RRC CORE VALUES Must understand and personify RRC’s core values: Client Satisfaction – understands the goal of always exceeding our client’s expectations Employee Happiness – able to work well with others, communicate clearly with coworkers, promote a positive work environment, and mediate conflicts between team members Quality Work – able to take ownership, work independently, prioritize workload, and deliver quality results on time while working on multiple projects simultaneously Above and Beyond – versatile, flexible, able to anticipate the needs of the company, take the initiative, and willing to go out of your way to assist others ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Act as a point of contact between field crews and office-based project personnel Interpret and execute work based on project scopes, maps, and documentation Navigate to projects including driving long distances in a safe manner Work in inclement weather, when necessary Responsible for all equipment assigned Confirm the job is correct when you leave the field Be respectful to all clients Responsible for upholding company values Utilize Microsoft Office including Microsoft Teams Perform accurate fieldwork and ensure the success of projects MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) 2+ years experience as Party/Crew Chief in Oil and Gas including operating TSC3 and TSC7 Prior experience on Data Center projects preferred Experience in data collection and field computations Background in construction layout including building staking, parking staking, utilities staking, and boundary search Experience with Trimble S6/S5 series robotics Experience with Trimble R8 and R10 units, level loops, and establishing benchmarks Ability to run OPUS Solution Calculations on Civil 3D program Ability to lead survey crews independently on job sites BENEFITS RRC is committed to investing in talented employees because we recognize that healthy, happy employees provide the best path to sustaining a successful business.
