Description

The Physical Therapy Assistant assists in the provision of physical therapy service provided the service is rendered under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, administering treatment programs designed by and under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, monitoring patients' progress and response to treatment, reporting deviations from the plan and goals to the Physical Therapist.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
  • New Mexico Physical Therapist Assistant License - New Mexico Physical Therapy Board upon hire,
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Neonatal Therapist (CCH acute only): Degree from an accredited program.
  • 1 year Experience in rehabilitation.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
