Housekeeping Attendant-Full Time

JOB SUMMARY: 

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms, cottages, offices, and public areas of the Club. The employee must adhere to safety and security guidelines, cleanliness guidelines, and Club policies.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES and other duties assigned related to this position.

 

Cleans and maintains guestrooms, cottages, offices, dorms, and public areas, both indoors & outdoors, as assigned, which includes sweeping, vacuuming floors, dusting, replenishing linen/terry & amenities, disinfecting, sanitizing, and cleaning windows.

 

Reports any maintenance and safety issues into HOTSOS.

 

Remove trash and dirty linen as required.

 

Prepares all cottages with amenities, linen, terry according to Club standards.

 

Follows all safety guidelines for the proper use and storage of cleaning supplies, tools, chemicals, golf carts and Club keys. 

 

Maintains a clean and well-organized workspace, including storage closets, carts, caddies, golf carts, and equipment.

 

Operate and maintain equipment daily (vacuums, buckets, mops, caddies)

 

Performs turndown services, as required

 

Room attendant may assist with other tasks as needed, such as Club Events, assisting with traffic control, turndown services, bathroom attendant duties and laundry.

 

Maintain inventory of bath amenities; linen/terry; cleaning supplies and tools for daily use.

 

Refer member or guest concerns and complaints to the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor promptly.

 

Report any maintenance and safety issues to the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor.

 

Must be able to clearly communicate via a company cellphone to Manager or Supervisor and use HOTSOS/REX system on their assigned device.

 

Presents all lost and found items left in room to Front Desk.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required and have a minimum of one year of Housekeeping-related experience; or equivalent combination of training and/or experience in a high-end, high-volume hospitality environment.
