Role summary:
Shopping is undergoing its most significant structural shift since the rise of e-commerce. Customers are planning purchases through AI-powered assistants building baskets and making decisions before they ever visit a product page.
Walmart Connect is not waiting for this shift to happen. We are building the future of advertising for an agentic world. As a Director, Product Management, Agentic Ads, you will lead Walmart Connect’s next major evolution in retail media.
You will define how sponsored discovery, brand influence, and performance advertising work in AI-native shopping environments, including conversational shopping, AI assistants, multimodal experiences, and future agent-to-agent shopping flows.

Our team builds the platforms, products, and experiences that power Walmart's advertising ecosystem. We simplify advertising by creating intuitive experiences, intelligent capabilities, and scalable platforms that help advertisers achieve their goals while delivering better shopping experiences for customers.
We define product vision and strategy, solve complex customer problems, and deliver solutions that drive measurable business impact. Working closely with engineering, design, data science, and business partners, we use customer insights, experimentation, and data to continuously improve our products and shape the future of retail media.
What you'll do:
  • Own and drive product vision and strategy for a complex product family, aligning roadmaps with business and customer needs.
  • Lead multiple product teams through full lifecycle management, from discovery to value realization and iteration.
  • Develop deep customer and business insights using research, journey mapping, and data analytics to inform priorities and success metrics.
  • Manage cross-functional trade-offs, balancing scope, feasibility, cost, and time-to-value with stakeholders.
  • Coach and develop product talent, fostering alignment with organizational goals and standards.
  • Oversee financial outcomes, resource allocation, and product performance measurement.
  • Champion data-driven decision making, experimentation, and AI integration to optimize product impact.

What you'll bring:
  • Extensive experience leading product vision and strategy for complex product families, with proven ability to manage full product lifecycle from discovery to value realization.
  • Strong expertise in developing and aligning product roadmaps that balance impact, risk, dependencies, and trade-offs across cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated success in driving data-driven decision making, including defining outcome-based metrics, experimentation, and leveraging AI and analytics.
  • Proven leadership in coaching and developing product talent, fostering collaboration with Engineering, Design, and Business partners.
  • Ability to manage P&L implications and translate product strategy into measurable financial outcomes.

The annual salary range for this position is $156,000.00 - $312,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
