Job Summary:
As a Quality Technician at Caterpillar Inc. you will perform quality control and/or technical support for all functional departments.
What You Will Do (including but not limited to):
- Perform quality control on receiving, shipping, storage, processing, renovation, inspection equipment maintenance, communication, packaging and returns.
- Ensure customer standards are maintained.
- Lead inspection staff and assist in training incoming quality personnel.
- Use specialized equipment including: hoists, saws, grinders, material handling vehicles, and chemical solutions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and/or electronic schematics diagrams.
- Working knowledge of CMM software.
- Working knowledge of inspection tools including, micrometers and various gages.
- Strong customer focus.
- Legacy software experience.
Top Candidates will also have:
- Previous experience in quality control or manufacturing.
- Previous Leadership experience.
- Degree or taking classes towards degree.
- Geomagic software skills.
- Geomagic Design X knowledge.
- Lidar scanning application.
- Microsoft office and computer skills.
Additional Information:
- 1st Shift: Monday – Friday 6:00AM – 2:30PM.
- This is an on-site position in Hodges, SC.

Summary Pay Range:
$20.15 - $25.65Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.Â
