Essential Job Functions: Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Maintain the integrity of the central banking operations of QBR&C. Organize the cash operations of the property for effective and efficient services as well as overall coordination and control. Maintain and report on security of transactions and Credit/Vault department accountability in accordance with QBR&C, Washington State Gaming Commission and Tribal Gaming Commission. Prepare for approval and implement policies and procedures including operations manuals, to promote compliance with company and outside requirements and coincide with company goals. Maintain an awareness of outside and internal conditions, trends and legal requirements which impact on the cash operations, cage and vault and takes appropriate action in response. Keep administration informed of the activities and status of the operation with emphasis on uncommon or possible issues. Interview, hire, train, discipline, schedule, and evaluate staff. Assist Cage Manager in determining wage increases and promotions. Track all shortages/overages and follow through with necessary disciplinary actions. Assist other employees and department with paperwork if needed, including, but not limited to, Slot Department, Table Games, and Soft Count Assist in the development of short and long-term department management plans including budgets, labor schedules and system of accountability. Comply at all times with QBR&C standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient Resort operations. Maintain a neat and organized work area. Create or initiate records, reports and other administrative documentation in a timely manner as required to meet the expectations of the organization. Attends mandatory meetings. Travel to conferences. Be aware of the activities within the Hotel and Great Hall for impacts to the Casino and Cage operation. Other duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired: High school diploma or equivalent Must be 21 years of age. Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience in a Cash Cage and Vault operation. Must be able to obtain a valid Washington State and Quinault Indian Nation Gaming Commission License. Must have thorough knowledge of Title 31. Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours. Computer application skills. Positive customer service skills. Preferred: 3 years' experience in a Cash Cage and Vault operation. Knowledge of computerized slot tracking, credit, and point of sale systems. Degree in management or accounting or 4 years direct work experience in combination thereof.
