Job Description

Production Engineering Technician positions offered by HL Mando America Corporation (Hogansville, Georgia). Responsible for supporting production line operations, troubleshooting machinery and product issues, and implementing continuous improvement activities. Perform problem-solving related to automation, servomotors, and robotic systems, as well as analyze technical drawings for jigs, fixtures, and machine components. Monitor and troubleshoot production line issues to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime. Investigate mechanical and product-related problems and implement corrective actions. Analyze machine components and tooling using 2D and 3D CAD drawings (e.g., AutoCAD, CATIA) to propose and implement improvements. Improve production efficiency through data analysis and machine and process optimization. Support and maintain robotic and servo-based equipment, identifying issues and adjusting performance parameters. Investigate production defects, identify root causes, and assist with corrective and preventive actions. Provide guidance to line operators to maintain productivity and quality standards.

Minimum Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma or foreign equivalent degree and 6 months of experience performing machine and product issue investigations and using improvement techniques
  • Must have 6 months of experience in each of the following:
  • Improving production efficiency involving machines and products
  • Working with servomotor and robotic systems
  • Performing root cause analysis and corrective action planning for production defects
  • Reading and analyzing 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar CAD software
  • Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
