Production Technician

Job Description: 

Production Technician positions offered by HL Mando America Corporation (Hogansville, Georgia). Responsible for supporting the stable operation of automated machining and assembly lines. Troubleshoot basic machine process alarms, preset mill wheels and broach blades, and perform tool presetting for machining operations using both dial and optical tool setters. Assist in identifying and correcting part “out-of-spec” conditions by adjusting tooling or jig fixtures as necessary. Perform model changeovers and operate Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) equipment to verify part quality and run calibration routines. Utilize the GMES 3.0 system to record downtime, enter Product and Process checks, and maintain lot traceability. Maintain adherence to all safety guidelines, housekeeping standards, and MCA policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Requires a high school diploma or foreign equivalent and 1 year of experience working in machine operation, production support, or performing maintenance in a manufacturing environment. 

• Must have 1 year of experience in each of the following: 

o Identifying and troubleshooting basic machine process alarms and tooling issues 

o Performing part measurements using Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and standard measuring tools 

o Presetting tools for machining operations using dial and optical tool setters 

o Using a Global Manufacturing Execution System (GMES) for downtime recording, quality data entry, and lot tracking 

• Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
