We’re looking for a Sales Manager to take charge of our residential flooring sales operations in the Long Island market. In this role, you’ll lead a talented sales team, build lasting client relationships, and help shape a culture of ownership and results. We work hard, support one another, celebrate wins, and genuinely love what we do. If that sounds like your kind of environment — keep reading.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coaching and training sales skills and processes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with designers and retail customers
- Oversee bids, proposals, and contracts for residential projects
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with operations, estimating, and installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Set individual and team performance goals; track results using CRM software
- Participate in trade shows, networking events, and industry associations to promote the company brand and recruit talent
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of flooring products, installation methods, and industry standards
We’re not your average sales team — here’s what makes us different:
- Lead from the front — we’re in it together
- Accountability is everything — no excuses, just results
- Hard work is recognized — and rewarded
- Passion is contagious — we love what we do, and it shows
- We make it fun — from cracking jokes to celebrating wins and team events
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
- Proven background in the flooring, construction, or building materials industry
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
- Proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office Suite (Service Titan or similar tools preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Results-driven with the ability to motivate and coach others to achieve high performance
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed
