Service Technician (In-house)

 General Purpose of Job:
• To provide a top level customer experience by continually improving technical
knowledge and applying it to phone and email support.
• To work as part of a team to ensure a positive work environment and continually
improve customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities (Included but not limited to):
• Phone & Email Support
• Troubleshooting product issues for end users, OEM customers and resellers.
• Supporting distribution partner technicians in the field.
• Assisting Minebea Intec sales staff with technical questions and product
specifications.
• Providing documentation such as manuals, datasheets, drawings, etc.
• In House Repairs and testing of equipment
• Assisting with service center repairs.
• Cross-Functional Support
• Assisting technical support team, sales, customer service, quality management,
finance and product management with support and projects as needed.
• Participating in warehousing duties such as shipping and receiving.

Duties or projects which may be performed at irregular intervals:
• International Travel, Trade show setup, customer site visits, inventory support.

Qualifications:
Required Skills and experience:
• High School Graduate.
• Logical problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Basic electronic skills.

• Proficient with Windows operating systems and connectivity to peripheral
devices.
• Customer focused approach.
• Self-motivated but able to collaborate within a team.

Preferred Skill and Experience:
• Associates degree or equivalent experience in Electronics, Computers
(programming or networking) or related technical field.
• Experience in the weighing industry, electronics or similar products.
• 6-12 months client facing experience.
• Experience with PLC’s and industrial communication.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

 Desired Skill and Experience:
• Familiarity with industrial software programming.
