Verdantas is seeking a Construction Technician I to support the construction, setup, and maintenance of physical models, test systems, and experimental structures used in hydraulic and fluid dynamics research at Verdantas Flow Labs. This entry-level, hands-on role works closely with engineers and senior technicians to support testing, data collection, and project execution in a laboratory and applied research environment.

What You'll Do:
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of work areas
  • Perform basic tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment
  • Follow safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe work environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on construction progress
What You'll Bring:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or technical training preferred)
  • 0–2 years of relevant construction or carpentry experience
  • Ability to work safely and accurately with a variety of hand, power, and shop tools/equipment
  • Ability to meet physical requirements primarily includes sitting, walking with occasional lifting, pushing, and pulling

Salary Range:

$22-$27/hr
