Automation Panel Builder / Electrician

Join a fast-paced automation integrator building custom equipment for industrial manufacturing clients. In this role, you'll assemble and wire control panels and machines according to approved designs and customer specs. 

What You'll Do

  • Assemble equipment per approved design and customer specifications
  • Wire panels and machines per NEC standards
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Troubleshoot wiring and circuits safely and effectively
  • Document and communicate design changes and issues to the project team
  • Support execution of ISO/Quality Standards
  • Keep the build on track for cost, quality, and timing goals
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Work with minimal direct supervision, both independently and as part of a team

What You'll Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–20 years of relevant experience
  • Related vocational education preferred
  • Journeyman's card preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of schematic interpretation, panel building, machine wiring, and troubleshooting
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety and quality
  • Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work on/under machines for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to obtain Hi-Lo, Aerial Platform, and Overhead Crane certifications, plus Lock Out Tag Out training, while employed
