Description

Job Summary:

The Print Production Coordinator will assist the Designers in operating all print shop equipment to fulfill agent and office orders in a timely and orderly fashion with an eye on safety and cleanliness.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Operate and calibrate high-volume commercial digital color printers, wide-format vinyl/board plotters, and production printers.
  • Perform post-press finishing tasks: high-precision paper cutting/trimming, scoring, folding, laminating, mounting, saddle-stitching, and coil binding.
  • Execute routine preventative equipment maintenance.
  • Manage incoming print requests, maintaining clear communication regarding status and fulfillment timelines.
  • Maintain organized inventory of paper stocks, specialty vinyl, sign boards, ink cartridges, toner, and binding supplies.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Basic computer skills with the ability to learn proprietary systems
  • Ability to learn to run all shop equipment while following safety protocols for each.
  • Focus on quality and attention to detail in a customer-oriented mind set.
  • Be motivated to keep the shop, office, & employee area clean and organized.
  • Professional demeanor and attire
  • Ability to multi-task and keep up with fast paced environment
  • Physical requirements involve sitting to perform general office work at a computer, and mobility throughout an office to light maintenance work
  • Self-directed; ability to work both independently and in a team environment; ability to look for ways to improve production and quality.
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Computer skills - basic (typing, basic spreadsheets, emails, and using software systems)
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Calendar) or similar office software. 

Education and Experience:

High school diploma required; college preferred


Physical Requirements:

Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the office and production areas while performing job duties.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
