Generous Paid time off including Paid Vacation, Personal Days and Holidays Full benefits package with low premiums: Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance Tuition Reimbursement Earn additional $$$ through Our Uncapped Profit-Sharing program (paid quarterly) Competitive 401k match Health Savings Account with company contribution Position Summary: The 3rd Shift Composite Technician manufactures the fiberglass reinforced plastic (composite) parts needed to construct components of a boat/yacht while following build specifications in a safe and organized work area. These composite components include the hulls, decks, superstructures, and other small and medium parts required. We are looking for a dependable, personable individuals who has an eye for quality and are willing to learn. Composite experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right individual that shows willingness to work hard and is enthusiastic about learning a new trade.   Job Responsibilities: The 3rd Shift Composite Technician will work with minimal supervision on a team to build specific composite parts per specifications prescribed on the Tiara Yachts work instructions The 3rd Shift Composite Technician will complete lay-up, or fabrication of engineered composite (fiberglass) structures The 3rd Shift Composite Technician will communicate the current product, process or material constraints or issues to the team leader Must be accustomed to physical tasks for long periods of time. This includes, but not limited to, standing, lifting, bending, climbing, using your hands and working with various materials Must have basic computer knowledge Must have the ability to pay attention to details and self-inspect work to ensure quality defects are minimized Validation of process and product is critical to quality specifications The 3rd Shift Composite Technician will assist with training team members to develop job knowledge and improve performance Maintain daily labor tracking records Have the ability to prepare, use and maintain composite tools, including resin dispensing equipment Ability to use grinding, cutting and trimming tools The 3rd Shift Composite Technician will perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor and/or management 3rd Shift Composite Technicians may work on open molding, closed molding and/or infusion QualificationsEducation and Experience: High School graduate or equivalent preferred   General Job Requirements: Ability to work overtime as requested Promote a safe and clean work environment Willingness to work on a team or individually Able to follow manufacturing instruction and understand processes Must practice PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) policies as mandated per area. (Use safety glasses/goggles, hearing protection, etc.) Must follow company safety guidelines
