Job DetailsJob Location: 001 Holland - Holland, MI 49423Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: 1stPosition Summary: The Damage/Defective Support Person supports manufacturing by processing parts that are found to be either damaged or defective, working with suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply of product, administering vendor reimbursement for vendor caused failures and supporting Supplier Quality Assurance in containing problems. Job Responsibilities: Interacts with suppliers to Determine disposition of defective product Order replacement parts for manufacturing as needed Interacts with manufacturing to Ensure they have what they need to build boats Schedule supplier service needs Analyze damaged parts data, alert manufacturing of reoccurring problems and participate in resolving problems Manages damaged, defective and warranty parts to ensure they are properly processed in a timely and cost-effective manner QualificationsEducation and Experience: Demonstrates high energy level Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision Knowledge of S2 parts and inventory control systems Excellent verbal and written communication/interpersonal skills Demonstrates strong organizational skills in order to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously Computer use/data entry including experience in Word, Excel and our Syteline program General Job Requirements: Pass a background check, drug test and physical Ability to work overtime as requested Promote a safe and clean work environment Willingness to work on a team or individually Able to follow manufacturing instruction and understand processes Must practice PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) policies as mandated per area. (Use safety glasses/goggles, hearing protection, etc.) Must follow company safety guidelines Must be fluent in the English language Ability to obtain Powered Lift Truck License
