You’ll be the go-to technical expert on-site, with the freedom to troubleshoot, improve, and optimize without being micromanaged.
What You’ll Do: ⚙️ Equipment Maintenance & Reliability
- Strong Electrical knowledge to maintain motors, drives, gearboxes, and electrical systems (up to 480V)
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment (saws, routers, welders, conveyors, etc.)
- Diagnose pneumatic & hydraulic systems
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance
- Support PLC troubleshooting and minor adjustments
- Minimize downtime and keep operations running efficiently
Process Improvement & Engineering Support
- Partner with production to improve uptime and cycle times
- Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes
- Reduce scrap, rework, and inefficiencies
- Support new equipment installs and line changes
- Help develop SOPs, PM programs, and best practices
Facility & Plant Support
- Maintain building systems, utilities, and infrastructure
- Handle basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical repairs
- Support compressed air, dust collection, and facility equipment
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed
What We’re Looking For: Must-Haves:
- 6-8 years of maintenance/electrical experience in manufacturing
- Strong electrical troubleshooting (up to 480V)
- Experience with mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot independently
- Self-starter mindset — someone who takes initiative
Nice to Have:
- PLC experience (Allen-Bradley or Siemens)
- Welding/fabrication (MIG/TIG)
- Lean manufacturing exposure
- CMMS experience
- OSHA or safety certifications
