What You’ll Do: Build and upholster custom boat seating units using air staplers, drivers, DA sanders, and other tools Follow detailed work instructions to ensure accuracy, safety, and high-quality results Measure, cut, staple, and assemble upholstery components with attention to symmetry and fit Communicate material or process issues clearly with your team leader Maintain your tools and work area with care, professionalism, and pride Support your team through training, cross-functional tasks, and continuous improvement Track your daily work using basic computer systems and timekeeping tools QualificationsWhat It Takes: A good eye for quality, comfort with hand tools, and a desire to learn a skilled trade Physical ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and work with your hands for extended periods Willingness to follow work instructions and safety standards, including PPE Upholstery or sewing experience is a plus, but not required — we’ll train the right candidate A dependable, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills Why This Job is Special: As a Marine Upholstery Technician, you don’t just build cushions — you create the comfort people remember.
