Summary
Looking for a hardworking, positive, reliable, and genuine person with a go-getter attitude to take on our Planning Specialist role. This role encompasses the entire process of production from material to customers. You will be involved in the day-to-day manufacturing operations, managing inventory level, and maximizing the company’s profitability. You will be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the production reports. You will serve as a main communicator who guides the production teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day interaction and act as primary liaison for Executive, internal team members and clients.
- Manage Executive’s schedules, appointments, travel arrangements and process voucher entries.
- Arrange, coordinate, and schedule meetings, conference room reservations and management, organize team meetings and take meeting minutes.
- Monitor corporate KPI performance on day-to-day basis, including monthly closing and in-depth analysis of key manufacturing indicators (yield, production utilization, NCR and IF-Cost, etc) and ensure accurate reporting to management and headquarters.
- Synchronize information flow between multiple IT systems (GMES, GDW, GSCM, FP, ERP, etc.)
- Lead cost management and improvement activities by consolidating cost reduction initiatives from relevant departments, establishing saving calculation logic, track and report on the achievement of cost reduction results.
- Support the establishment of annual business plans and stretch targets, and continuously monitor production progress against targets with regular performance reviews, and provide guidance on production metrics.
- Act as the main interface with headquarters by responding to data requests and inquiries, distributing and guiding the implementation of HQ policies, manuals, and standard guidelines across the site.
- Prepare regular operational and management reports (daily, weekly, monthly, and C-level reports, etc).
- Co-ordinate any assigned project-based work.
- Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:

- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent, relevant experience
Experience:
- 0 to 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the automotive industry

- Ability to work cross-functionally
- MS Office suite
- Ability to speak, read, and translate Korean language (preferred)
