About the Role:
The Powder Coater plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by applying high-quality powder coatings to various products, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal. This position requires meticulous attention to detail to meet strict product specifications and quality standards. The Powder Coater is responsible for preparing surfaces, operating coating equipment, and performing quality inspections to guarantee flawless finishes. Additionally, the role involves maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including sterilization procedures when necessary, to uphold product integrity. Ultimately, the Powder Coater contributes to the overall production efficiency and customer satisfaction by delivering consistently superior coated products.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in powder coating or related painting processes within a manufacturing environment.
- Basic understanding of product specifications and quality assurance principles.
- Ability to perform visual inspections and quality control tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and sterilization procedures in a manufacturing setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in powder coating application or related technical training.
- Experience with automated powder coating systems and equipment maintenance.
- Knowledge of advanced quality inspection tools and techniques.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Previous experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment such as aerospace or medical device production.
Responsibilities:
