Summary:Ā 

This role drives continuous quality improvement by gathering and analyzing data, maintaining standards, proposing solutions, and communicating with all stakeholders, from operators to high-level management. Ā 

Responsibilities:Ā 

  • Oversee all quality inspections, including activity of off shifts
  • Submit non-conformance reports if needed and follow up to ensure problems are corrected
  • Ensure accurate and standardized collection of data
  • Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and troubleshootingĀ 
  • Work independently and also in collaboration with othersĀ 
  • Communicate with all stakeholders to ensure testing for changes in materials or dimensions occurs
  • Provide data as requested by other work related team include HQ
  • Track/monitoring SPC data of all inspections and drive future changesĀ 
  • Write and maintain work instructions
  • Train operators when any changes occur
  • Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
    • Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
    • Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:Ā 

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent, relevant experience (MS preferred)
  • Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/industrial Engineering / Computer science / or equivalent
  • Knowledge Lean Six Sigma (Greenbelt or black belt holder preferred)

Experience:

  • 0 to 3+ years of experience in a quality engineer or related role
  • Experience with complete core documents, including control plans and process failure mode effects analysis (PFMEA) helpfulĀ 
  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC) preferred
  • Experience with 4M change process preferredĀ
