Title:  Security Manager

Reports to:  Admin Team Leader

Location:  Holland, MI

 

Summary   

This position will lead the Information Security Organization and communicate with Headquarter Security Team. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • People management of Information Security Organization personnel & IT related external partner employees
  • Communicate with HQ Security team.
  • Overall management of physical and IT Security
  • Manage Information Security Projects
  • Develop site Information Security Polices, Standards, and Procedures 
  • Maintain confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues in the work place
  • Select and oversee installation, and maintenance of security equipment, such as CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems
  • Train employees on security procedures, such as proper badge use, handling of sensitive materials, and evacuation procedures
  • Conduct background checks on new hires and contractors as requested by the Human Resources Department
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and maintenance of security and other life safety equipment
  • Attend meetings and work with team members to ensure a safe a secure working environment
  • Assist other members of the HSE team in completing tasks that may or may not be security related at times to maintain the overall mission of the HSE department

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in information Security work.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, as well as process-oriented mindset
  • Positive, dedicated attitude and demonstrated effectiveness to achieve given goals within due dates
  • The willingness and ability to work flexible hours occasionally to support team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership and Open-mindedness.
  • Consider issues, identify alternatives, choose and implement solutions.
  • Knowledge of appropriate measures of performance and applicable standards.
  • Collaboration with team and other department.
