Truck Driver for Thursday-Friday

PURPOSE/SCOPE:Â
Responsible for driving delivery truck, transporting products, following predetermined delivery routes, and delivering products in a safe and timely manner.Â

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Â - Transport and deliver new products to clients in a safe and timely manner.
- Follow planned routes, timetables, and local traffic rules to guarantee safe and efficient delivery.
- Assure loads are loaded in a stable and safe manner.
- Double-check orders before and after delivery to guarantee correctness and accuracy.
- Assure customer satisfaction by interacting with them in a polite and professional manner.
- Compile any delivery-related paperwork or reports that are required.
- Report any damage or worn equipment on the truck and/or van to Logistics Manager.
- Maintain clean presentable vehicle.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION: - High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) and a clean driving record are required.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or related job preferred.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication skills and time management skills
