Senior Delivery Manager – Specification Technology
General Purpose
As a Delivery Manager, you will sit at the center of MillerKnoll’s specification technology ecosystem, bringing clarity to how work flows across teams. You will align priorities, reduce friction at handoffs, and help complex launches land smoothly—allowing teams to focus more on creating value and less on navigating process.
The Delivery Manager – Specification Technology provides program-level delivery coordination across MillerKnoll’s specification technology ecosystem and cross-functional partners. This role ensures alignment, visibility, and predictable delivery for work spanning product data, CAD modeling, CET software development, Revit family creation, and related teams.
The Delivery Manager is accountable for cross-team planning, dependency management, and delivery execution, with particular focus on major new product launches and initiatives requiring coordination across multiple teams. Working in close partnership with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, and cross-functional leaders, this role drives continuous improvement in delivery efficiency, flow, and reliability.
Essential Functions
•    Serves as the primary delivery coordinator across multiple independent technology teams.
•    Leads planning, sequencing, and coordination for major new product launches, ensuring readiness and alignment across teams.
•    Facilitates delivery of cross-team initiatives and enhancements that require shared planning and dependency management.
•    Establishes and maintains a transparent intake and prioritization process for cross-team work.
•    Ensures delivery plans, dependencies, and progress are visible and understood by all stakeholders.
•    Identifies, tracks, and actively manages cross-team dependencies and delivery risks.
•    Proactively escalates and facilitates resolution of delivery impediments, especially when unexpected changes impact multiple teams.
•    Balances scope, capacity, and timing tradeoffs to maintain delivery stability and predictability.
•    Partners with Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to reinforce effective agile practices across teams.
•    Identifies systemic sources of rework, waste, or inefficiency, and drive program-level improvements.
•    Supports continuous improvement efforts focused on predictability, flow efficiency, and reduced rework.
•    Communicates delivery status, milestones, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to leaders and stakeholders.
•    Fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability, and shared ownership for delivery outcomes.
 
Qualifications
Required
•    Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
•    7–10+ years of experience in delivery management or technical program leadership.
•    Proven track record of managing complex, large-scale projects
•    Expertise in Project Management, risk management and stakeholder communication
•    Experience coordinating work across multiple agile teams.
•    Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices and delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence or other similar platforms.
•    Proven ability to influence across technical and business teams.
Preferred
•    Experience with specification, configuration, CAD, or BIM technologies.
•    Familiarity with SAFe concepts or Release Train Engineer responsibilities.
•    Experience supporting large-scale product launches.
•    Background in lean or continuous improvement practices.
