Production Team Leader - 3rd Shift

KAM Plastics is looking for an experienced and motivated 3rd Shift Team Leader to lead our overnight production team. If you're passionate about developing people, driving continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality results in a manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.

As a Team Leader, you'll be responsible for leading a production team while promoting safety, quality, efficiency, and teamwork. You'll play a key role in coaching employees, solving problems, and ensuring customer expectations are consistently met.

What You'll Do

Lead and Develop Your Team

• Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment.
• Coach, mentor, and motivate team members.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
• Promote KAM Plastics' core values of Partnership, Service, Work Life Balance and Integrity.
• Encourage employee engagement and ownership of team goals.

Drive Daily Production

• Ensure a safe work environment and enforce safety standards.
• Assign work and monitor production schedules.
• Ensure quality products are produced and delivered on time.
• Respond to production metrics and address performance issues.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and workplace organization.

Solve Problems & Improve Processes

• Assist in resolving customer quality concerns.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the production process.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who has:

• At least 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience in plastic injection molding.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A collaborative, hands-on leadership style.
• A passion for developing employees and building high-performing teams.
• A college degree is a plus but not required.
