We are hiring immediately for a full time, Electronic Assembler. With a culture rooted in continuous improvement, this role is mission critical.Ā 

As an Electronic Assembler you can expect to be our go-to for driving continuous improvement in the electronics production process. More specifically, in this role, you:Ā 

  • Performs various production assembly operations on components and subassemblies, and other complex duties as assigned.Ā 

  • Uses visual aids, drawings and verbal and written instruction to assemble, modify, re-work or re-assemble units.Ā 

  • Receives detailed instruction on new assignments.Ā 

  • Certified to IPC-J-STDĀ 

  • Certified to Acceptability of Electronic assemblies' Good mechanical aptitude.Ā 

  • IPC-D-610 which defines criteria for acceptance standards.Ā 

  • Identify component values.Ā 

  • Hand load PCB assembly following schematics and visual aide.Ā 

  • Solder various electronic component sizes following industry standards set by IPC-J-Std. including fine pitch components.Ā 

  • Read, understand and follow written instructions.Ā 

  • Read/interrupt customer, engineering drawings or visual aids and incorporate call outs onto assembly.Ā 

  • Solder under a microscope.Ā 

  • Identify and repair soldering anomalies.Ā 

  • Solder with lead and lead-free solder.Ā 

  • If required, attend offsite training classes to maintain certification requirements. (i.e. JSTD).Ā 

  

Qualifications and Requirements:Ā 

  • Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent.Ā 

  • US CitizenĀ 

  • Will provide on the job training (OJT)Ā 

  • Working knowledge of ESD prevention and product handlingĀ 

  • Highly Flexible individual with good interpersonal and communication skills.Ā 

  • Self-starter, able to plan, execute, and follow to completion assigned tasks.Ā 

  • 3-5 years of J-STD soldering experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
