Your Mission: 

The Production Controller I supports the preparation and coordination of welding work packages and materials

using ERP systems. This entry-level role assists in interpreting blueprints and specifications, ensuring proper weld and fit sequences, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to support production activities and ensure readiness for fabrication.

 

Explore the Depth of the Role: 

· Assist in breaking down welding work packages for shop floor use

· Support the preparation and organization of work packages in alignment with weld and fit sequences

· Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and specifications with guidance

· Assist in ensuring materials are available and staged prior to production

· Maintain and organize project documentation and records

· Communicate routine issues to supervisors or senior team members

· Support coordination between engineering and shop floor personnel

· Maintain weld records and assist with documentation accuracy

Requirements

   

Mission Readiness: 

· Working knowledge of Microsoft software applications  

· 0-3 years experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or related field preferred 

· High school diploma or equivalent required 


Travel Requirements:

· Occasional travel may be required


Physical Requirements:

· May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly.

· May lift or carry 25lbs. Weights exceeding 25lbs will require mechanical means to maneuver
