Colliers Engineering & Design is currently seeking a well-rounded, highly motivated engineer who is already a Project Manager, or ready to become one, to join our Holmdel, NJ Structural team, working on civil, marine, and amusement design projects. Â

Responsibilities
- Prepare engineering designs and/or technical data.
- Perform and oversee the work and productivity on assigned projects.
- Manage the preparation of construction documents (drawings, specifications, estimates, etc.).
- Perform structural inspection and prepare reports, letters, etc.
- Participate in formulating and coordinating proposals and provide other marketing support, including business development.
- Prepare effective work plans and man-hour budgets.
- Monitor time schedules and capital cost budgets on projects.
- Strive to achieve predetermined goals for profit, productivity targets, and schedule of deliverables.Â
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering is required.
- 3+ years of structural engineering experience is required.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is required; PE license is preferred.
- Good working knowledge of steel, concrete, timber design and a familiarity with applicable codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, etc.).Â
- Competent or proficient in AutoCAD.Â
- Proficient with structural design software (STAAD, Enercalc, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively communicate.Â
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Compensation: $95,000 to $140,000 per year (Depending on Qualifications)
