As an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll help oversee daily store operations, support team members, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced grocery store environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Help manage daily store operations and ensure smooth store functions
  • Supervise employees, assign tasks, and support team performance
  • Assist with inventory control, stocking, and merchandising
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns
  • Support store opening and closing procedures
  • Monitor compliance with company policies, food safety, and health regulations
  • Assist with cash handling, register operations, and reconciliations
  • Help train and develop new team members
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly store environment


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in grocery, retail, or department management preferred
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Knowledge of store operations, merchandising, and inventory control
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using technology for reporting, scheduling, and inventory tracking
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to enforce store policies and procedures
  • Flexible full-time availability (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)


Work Environment

  • Fast-paced grocery store environment
  • Exposure to refrigerated, freezer, and outdoor conditions
  • Standing for extended periods; lifting up to 50 lbs
