As a Receiving Coordinator, you’ll oversee backdoor receiving operations, manage incoming shipments and invoices, maintain inventory accuracy, and help ensure smooth store operations in a fast-paced grocery store environment.

What You’ll Do
- Oversee all backdoor receiving operations and incoming shipment processing
- Verify deliveries for accuracy, quality, and purchase order compliance
- Review and reconcile invoices, packing slips, and receiving documentation
- Work with vendors and store leadership to resolve shipment and invoice discrepancies
- Process and coordinate store orders to maintain proper inventory levels
- Monitor vendor performance and address issues with late or incorrect shipments
- Maintain accurate receiving records and inventory documentation
- Prevent loss and shrinkage by enforcing security and receiving procedures
- Coordinate damaged goods claims, returns, and vendor credits
- Utilize inventory management systems and store technology to track shipments and invoices
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure receiving area
- Communicate effectively with department managers regarding inventory arrivals and shortages
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of receiving, inventory control, warehouse, or accounts payable experience preferred
- Knowledge of receiving operations, inventory management, and invoice reconciliation
- Familiarity with accounts payable and vendor dispute resolution processes
- Experience with inventory management software and technology systems preferred
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy with shipments and documentation
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Basic math and reading skills for invoice verification and inventory tracking
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Flexible full-time availability (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)
Work Environment
- Fast-paced grocery store receiving and backroom environment
- Exposure to varying temperatures including coolers and freezer areas
- Frequent lifting, sorting, organizing, and inventory movement
- Standing for extended periods; lifting up to 50 lbs
