* Set and manage weekly staff schedule.


* Responsible for overseeing food production and service.
* Creating special menus for holidays, events and special occasions.
* Training the staff members on waste management, sanitation, recipe adherence and portion control.
* Assisting with hiring needs for the kitchen.
* Gathers together the daily/weekly food orders for the Chef.


* Executes all specials for the weekend's services.
* Ensures walk- in freezer and cooler are properly organized, cleaned, dated and rotate food.
* Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
* 2-3 years of experience with a background/ knowledge in Italian cuisine is preferred.
* Ability to work in a fast paced busy environment.


* Good leadership, organizational and excellent communication skills are a MUST.
* Must be detail oriented and be open to constructive feedback.
* Be creative to develop new items on the menu.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
