We're looking for a talented IT professional to help develop, maintain, and support key Market and Enterprise applications at ISO New England. You'll work with a dynamic team on diverse technologies and high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment.

How you will make an impact: 

  • Develop and support internal/external web and vendor applications on Linux using Java, Groovy, Python, and Terraform
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, identifying root causes and long-term solutions
  • Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and technical needs
  • Learn ISO-NE business processes and follow IT standards and change management protocols

 

What you need to be successful in this role: 

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of relational databases (Oracle, Postgres)
  • Experience with Linux-based web application development using Java, SpringBoot, Python, Groovy, Terraform
  • Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and cloud-native tools
  • Comfortable with Unix systems and shell scripting
  • Proficient with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD workflows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Desired But Not Required
    • Experience in application support
    • Familiarity with CMS platforms (Crafter CMS, Liferay)
    • Exposure to cloud development environments (GitPod, Codex, etc.)

The expected salary range for this position is $136,000 - $182,000 per year.
