Position Summary:

The assistant provides a high quality of care to enrolled children. Ensures the needs of the children are being met and assists in the implementation and direction of daily routines and activities.

This full-time position works Monday through Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm with weekends off!

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

Candidate shall meet one of the following criteria:
Possession of a Child Development Associate’s (CDA) certificate
Completion of at least 2 years of full-time postsecondary study (60 credits) in a related field
Possession of an associate’s degree or higher
Demonstrated ability to complete basic computer tasks
Possess strong communications skills (verbal and written); able to communicate information to a diverse audience

Preferred:

One or more years’ experience teaching in an integrated classroom setting
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
Private Academic Teacher Certification in Nursery/Kinder
