Description

The Customer Project Planner is responsible to plan and schedule production and material requirements to safeguard product is being manufactured in accordance with the customers requirements and expectations. This position is also responsible to manage on time delivery and recovery for delinquent orders as well as inventory turns. The responsibilities include ensuring safety, production, materials management, on time performance, customer service, quality, housekeeping, integrity, attainment of budgeted goals, and adherence to company policies. This position requires you to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously and to envision and relate the effects of changes in one area or system to multiple other operating systems. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree; and, 
  • APICS designation preferred; and, 
  • Experience with Odyssey ERP preferred; and, 
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant foundry or manufacturing experience preferred; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before the employees in the organization, communicate effectively with customers and leadership throughout the organization.
  • The ability to manage schedules, consider resources, and communicate these needs effectively throughout the organization.
