Description

The Seed Conditioning Technician will assist the Seed Conditioning Lead and work as a member of the warehouse team ensuring efficient operations are maintained at the Homedale facility. The main focus will be to assist with the conditioning of seed. 


Duties and responsibilities

  • Operate conditioning equipment
  • Assist with the tracking and recording of lot and quality information in the conditioning process
  • Assist in the evaluation of dirt and clean seed
  • Operate forklift safely
  • Assist in maintaining conditioning equipment 
  • Other general warehouse tasks as needed
  • Actively participate in company safety programs


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Possess a valid Drivers’ License or the ability to obtain one
  • Previous work experience in manufacturing and warehousing
  • Confident mechanical ability (must be versed in the use of manual and power tools)
  • Ability to work in a team setting and independently as needed in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to operate forklifts, loaders, and tractors
  • Willing to work variable start times, weekends, holidays and overtime if needed
  • Steel toed work boot mandatory
