LSSI is hiring a part-time Cook at Shady Oaks. Prepare and serve meals to facility clients in accordance with menu plans, using standardized recipes and in accordance with clients' physician prescribed diets.

Schedule: Monday & Tuesday and every other Saturday & Sunday.

Essential Functions:

Prepare and serve meals to facility clients in accordance with menu plans, using standardized recipes and in accordance with clients' physician prescribed diets.
Following menu plans, prepare a variety of high-quality food in specified quantities, using standardized recipes.
Keep work area clean and follow all sanitation guidelines.
Perform all duties following safety guidelines and requirements in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
Stock needed items; food, drinks, supplies etc.
Follow meal plans/menus as determined by the food service manager or program director.
Maintain inventory of food, equipment, and supplies in the kitchen area.

Position Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
At least 18 years of age.
Ability to meet extensive physical requirements of the position.
Ability to read & write English adequately to complete required documentation.
Ability to communicate adequately with clients, families, & co-workers.
Valid Driver's License; preferred but not required.
