LSSI is hiring a full-time Certified Disabilities Aide at the East Shady Oaks location. Responsible for assisting adults with developmental disabilities and providing care in all areas of daily living in a residential setting.
Shift:
- 1st week: Monday 11pm-845am, Thursday 11pm-845am and Saturday 830pm-830am
- 2nd week: Sunday 830pm-830am, Tuesday 11pm-845am and Friday 11pm-845am

Essential Functions:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living.
- Driver and escort clients to outings, appointments, and other places in the community.
- Safely complete client transfers per facility protocol.
- Perform various housekeeping tasks.
- Implement client individual habilitation plans.
- Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest and fair manner.
Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Background check clearance required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Able to meet extensive physical requirement of the position.
- Demonstrated ability to read and write in English in order to complete required documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
- Valid driver’s license, in good standing for the state of residency required.
