Dispatcher MVO (TMP), Fort Bliss, TX

Technica LLC seeks to recruit for the position of Dispatcher on a Government contract with a place of performance at El Paso TX.

Position Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for the assignment of motor vehicles and drivers for conveyance passengers, and compiles lists of available vehicles.
• The assignment of vehicles is determined by factors such as length and purpose of trip, freight or passenger requirements, and preference of user.
• Additional responsibilities include the issuance of keys, record sheets, and driver credentials.
• The Dispatcher records time of departure, destination, cargo, passengers, expected time of return and investigates overdue vehicles.
• The Dispatcher may confer with customers to expedite or locate missing, misrouted, delayed or damaged merchandise, maintain record of mileage, fuel used, repairs made, and other expenses.
• The Dispatcher may modify daily route schedules to meet the requirements of missions.
• The Dispatcher may direct activities of drivers, assign helpers to drivers, and assign vehicles per request.
• The dispatcher is responsible for the distribution of vehicles to customers and the movement of equipment to vendors for repairs and maintenance.
• The Dispatcher shall be required to contact personnel for assignments and/or required information per the TMP Supervisor.

Requirements:

• Valid State Issued Driver's Class B Commercial Driver's License is desired.
• High School Diploma or
• Must have a minimum of 1-year
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Must be able to read, write, and speak
• Must Pass a National Agency Background
• Strong Communication and Customer Service
• Professional Telephone
• Familiarity with the Greater Fort Bliss Military Installation (to include East Fort Bliss, McGregor Range, Dona Anna Base Camp, Oro Grande, Tobin Wells, and White Sands Missile Range).

Working Conditions:

• Able to stand, sit, and operate in a shop environment for extended periods of time
• Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis
• Able to lift up to 49 pounds
• Noise level: Low to high
