Position Specific Description
The Senior Instructor at Turkey Point supports a two-unit nuclear site in South Florida, delivering high-quality training that ensures operational excellence and regulatory compliance. This role plays a key part in developing and qualifying licensed operators and maintaining a high-performing training program.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver classroom and simulator instruction to initial and continuing training students
- Support qualification of instructors, including classroom and simulator certification
- Prepare for and maintain Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) certification
- Evaluate student performance and provide coaching to improve outcomes
- Critique and continuously improve training materials, processes, and procedures
- Collaborate with operations to ensure training aligns with plant needs
Work Environment & Structure:
- Approximately 60% classroom instruction, 30% simulator instruction, 10% material development
- Position supports both initial and continuing training programs, reporting through program leadership to the Site Training Manager
- Opportunity to take on increased leadership or program ownership over time
Candidate Profile:
- Former SRO with instructor certification and demonstrated instructional experience
- Strong operational background with a passion for developing others
- Proven ability to coach, influence, and drive performance improvement
- High level of accountability and attention to detail
- Previous Turkey Point (PTN) experience is a plus
