Position Summary:


The Outdoor Test Specialist is responsible for conducting field-based testing and measurement of materials, components, and products in outdoor environments. This role involves collecting accurate data, documenting findings, and analyzing results using Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions, and proficient in data entry, organization, and basic analysis.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform field testing and measurement of materials, components, and equipment in outdoor environments
  • Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures, scales, gauges, etc.) to record accurate dimensional and performance data
  • Follow established testing procedures, safety standards, and quality protocols
  • Collect, document, and organize field data in Microsoft Excel
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets for tracking measurements, test results, and trends
  • Conduct basic data analysis, including formulas, charts, pivot tables, and summary reporting
  • Identify inconsistencies, deviations, or material defects and report findings to supervisors or engineers
  • Maintain testing equipment and ensure proper calibration and functionality
  • Assist in preparing detailed test reports and documentation
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and operations teams
  • Travel to outdoor test sites as required
