A growing technical services organization is seeking a Field Testing Specialist to support specialized environmental and materials testing programs. This role involves hands-on test setup, monitoring, documentation, and client coordination in an outdoor field environment. The position requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple test programs with varying requirements, including custom configurations, accelerated timelines, and specialized measurement tracking. The ideal candidate is organized, technically capable, and comfortable balancing fieldwork with documentation and client communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review incoming test requests and align them with internal capabilities
  • Communicate with clients to clarify scope, requirements, and timelines
  • Verify testing requirements against applicable standards
  • Set up, mount, and maintain test specimens and equipment
  • Monitor and record environmental and test-related data
  • Ensure minimal disruption to active test programs during service intervals
  • Generate reports and maintain accurate service documentation
  • Support cross-functional coordination for specialized test setups
  • Conduct routine field inspections to ensure proper exposure and performance
  • Maintain and calibrate monitoring and measurement equipment
  • Assist with general site and operational support as needed


Required Qualifications
  • Strong computer proficiency, including experience with spreadsheets and data entry
  • Experience supporting testing programs governed by industry or international standards
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Good visual acuity and attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
