Hometown Dental — Canton, MI Pay range $19-23 depending on experience

Hometown Dental is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and dependable Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Canton, Michigan!

We are a patient-focused dental practice providing comprehensive family, cosmetic, restorative, implant, orthodontic, and emergency dental care. Our goal is to create a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient while delivering high-quality dentistry using modern technology.

What You'll Do

As a Dental Assistant at Hometown Dental, you will play an important role in supporting our doctors and providing an excellent patient experience. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures
  • Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms and instruments
  • Taking dental X-rays and assisting with digital imaging
  • Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection-control standards
  • Providing compassionate chairside support and patient education
  • Helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their visits
  • Preparing materials and instruments for restorative and surgical procedures
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
  • Supporting the dental team with day-to-day clinical needs

What We're Looking For

  • Previous dental assisting experience preferred
  • Dental assisting certification/credentials as required by Michigan regulations
  • Strong understanding of infection control and sterilization procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Warm, friendly, and professional personality
  • Dependable, organized, and able to work effectively in a team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental environment
