Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting various aspects of IT desktop operations and support at AssetWorks. Installs, modifies and executes minor repairs to desktop computer hardware in the Berwyn, PA office. Support for various software systems and provide technical advice and direction to users. Capable of managing end-user tickets and requests, troubleshooting issues with hardware, software, applications and assisting with network issues. Will admin certain 3rd party software applications such as MFA, VoIP phone system as well as Active Directory.

Job Description:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate desktop builds and deployments for office and remote employees.
  • Install and configure laptop devices, printers, peripherals and new software, including updates.
  • Update appropriate products, devices, etc… such as operating systems, networking components and office applications.
  • Customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users’ requirements.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, peripherals and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
  • Support network printing and respond to email concerns.
  • Assist with telephone support issues and administration.
  • Provide support for in-house Wi-Fi service.
  • Assist with network administration and support for local and remote connections.
  • Anti-virus and malware software management.
  • Telephone, in-person and remote support to end-users.
  • Support for mobile wireless devices and tablets.
  • Recommend and Instructs users when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of personal computers, and related hardware and peripherals.
  • Strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot problems.
  • Basic understanding of network components, protocols, as well as LAN administration in a secure environment.
  • Must be organized, capable of handling multiple tasks and be able to prioritize them.
  • Capable of working independently, while closely collaborating with management on broader IT projects.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum 3 years work related experience in PC and network support. 
  • Microsoft Certification is a plus.
