Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Â
- Respond to phone inquiries efficiently and timely regarding eligibility, benefits, claim status, and other plan information or issues.
- Coordinate benefits with Medicaid and other insurance carriers through phone communication.
- Process simple claim adjudication when necessary.
- Provide support to Claims Processing through data entry and claims up to Level 2.
- Â Resolve all inquiries and issues efficiently and in a timely manner as per Team Goals and Objectives.
Qualifications:
- - High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
- - Previous experience in customer service or a related field.
- - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- - Ability to handle customer inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- - Basic understanding of insurance eligibility, benefits, and claims processing.
- - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- - Proficient in data entry and comfortable with electronic systems
Working Conditions:
- - On-site position located in Honolulu, HI.
- - Regular full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
