Primary Purpose of Job

Responsible for leading the growth and development of the Home Loans department.  Develops and executes short and long-term strategic plans for the team.

Major Job Accountabilities

• Provides leadership and guidance to the Home Loans team in achieving sales goals and objectives.  
• Directs and oversees the team’s sales initiatives.  Analyzes economic and market trends to forecast and budget for loan production volume.
• Collaborates with the Marketing and Credit teams to develop and implement new loan programs. Evaluates effectiveness of existing programs and recommends updates in accordance with long-term strategic objectives to ensure growth and profitability.
• Develops and executes short-term and long-range strategic plans based on corporate goals, growth objectives, and emerging market trends.

Experience Required

• Minimum ten (10) years of General banking experience, with at least 3 years specializing in residential sales.
• Minimum five (5) years of Supervisory experience.

Required Skills or Training

• Proficient working knowledge of banking policies, regulations, and procedures pertaining to residential mortgage lending.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. 
• Proficient in the use of MS Office applications.

Professional Certifications, Licenses, And/or Registration Requirements

• NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator License
• Valid US Driver’s License and access to a motor vehicle
